All orders and purchases made through this website are subject to these Terms and Conditions outlined below. We may change these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice and at our discretion. Serbian Bookstore may correct errors or inaccuracies and change or update information on this website at any time without notice, including in respect of prices and availability of items.
This website is owned and operated by Serbian Bookstore ABN 59 255 322 410, referred to herein as ‘Serbian Bookstore’. These Terms and Conditions, the use of this website and any order/purchase made through the facilities of this website shall be governed by the laws and courts of NSW, Australia.
In these terms and conditions, the expressions ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ are a reference to Serbian Bookstore.

Serbian Bookstore uses secured connection to make shopping on the site as secure as it can be.
Ordering
How to Buy
Once you have arrived at an item you wish to purchase you may add it to your shopping cart without committing to purchase. You can add as many items to your cart as you wish and if you want multiple copies of an item, you may change the quantity of the item in your cart. When you are ready to proceed with the purchase, click on the cart icon and view your cart. At this point your can delete any items you do not want and confirm the quantities of the items you do want.
You will be provided with a standard delivery option (flat postage fee $10).
We use Pay Pal and Stripe Payment Gateways to process your pay Pal or Credit Card payment on the secure online order form. We regret that we cannot accept cheques or cash as payment online. If you require an alternative payment method please contact us either via email, info@serbianbookstore.com.au.
Pricing
All prices listed on this website are in Australian dollars. All charges will be processed in Australian dollars and are subject to change without notice. All orders are subject to confirmation of price and availability.
Every effort has been made to keep information on this website as current as possible, but if prices and availability change, Serbian Bookstore cannot accept responsibility..
Stock Availability
Once you have confirmed your order and we have received it, we will only contact you if an item is out of stock or on back order (and given estimated time frames on when item will be back in stock), at which time you will be given the chance to cancel the order and receive a full refund.
You can contact us for immediate stock information and other sales enquiries via contact form.
Refunds / Exchanges / Store Credits / Faulty and Incorrect Products
Refunds/Exchanges must be requested within 3 working days of placing your order. If you receive your order and wish to return it, a store credit will be given to the value of the item being returned and will not include the cost of shipping the item. Returns/Store Credits must be requested within 3 days of receiving your order (the product needs to be in mint, saleable condition on its return before refund is made – we must remind you that if you do not package the item correctly then it could result in arriving in a damaged state and no refund will be due). We will process a refund/store credit once we have received the goods back from you in a saleable condition.
A Receipt / Invoice / Proof of sale must accompany any request for a refund or exchange.
**Any costs to post products back to Serbian Bookstore are at the Customer’s expense. Only if a product is faulty or was delivered in our error will Serbian issue a credit for the postage costs.
Serbian Bookstore`s Liability
Serbian Bookstore`s liability for breach of a condition or warranty implied by the Trade Practices Act 1974 (other than under section 69) in relation to the supply of goods or services not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal domestic or household use or consumption, is limited, at Serbian Bookstore’s option, to:
in the case of goods – the replacement of the goods, the supply of equivalent goods, the payment of the cost of replacing the goods or the payment of the cost of acquiring equivalent goods; or
in the case of services – the supplying of the services again or the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us via phone or email (see contact details contained in these Terms and Conditions). As we try to process orders immediately it may not always be possible to prevent an order from being despatched. If your order has already been despatched you may return the items to us in accordance with our Returns Policy and the payment refunded according to the Refund Policy.
Missing Orders
In the event of a missing parcel each customer is responsible for calling/following up with the freight provider. We provide a parcel reference number with each and every order so that a case can be raise with your chosen freight company. Customer service number for Australia Post: 137678.
Postage and Handling
Please note, Serbian Bookstore uses Australia Post and Couriers Please for parcel delivery and therefore we rely on their processes and delivery times to your chosen destination once the parcel has left our warehouse. We cannot give any guarantees on our couriers behalf. Our couriers will deliver to your nominated address between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday excluding public holidays.
Always provide us with a secure shipping address. Make sure someone will be at home or in the office to collect the delivery. We (Serbian Bookstore) nor the shipping provider will compensate for stolen/missing goods at your provided delivery address, not unless you have insurance. It’s your responsibility to ensure the security of the delivery location.
Privacy
Serbian Bookstore keeps all personal information submitted to us in the strictest confidence. The information is kept on a secure server and is only used to process orders from Serbian Bookstore. This information will not be released to anyone other than necessary to fulfil your order, without your consent or where the release is required by law.
Disclaimer
We do not accept responsibility for any loss damage, however caused (including through negligence), which you may directly or indirectly suffer in connection with your use of this web site or any linked web site, nor do we accept any responsibility for any such loss arising out of your use of or reliance on information contained on or accessed through this web site.
This disclaimer set out in these terms and conditions does not attempt or purport to exclude liability arising under statute if, and to the extent, such liability cannot be lawfully excluded.
